Masry is an independent, bilingual home for Egyptians building a life in the United States — real news from Egypt and the US, plus a place to ask questions, find housing and jobs, discover local events, and connect with people who have been there.
Masry grew out of the everyday questions, tips, and support that Egyptians in the US share with each other. We built masry.us to give that community a permanent home — trustworthy news alongside the practical answers newcomers actually need.
We cover what matters to Egyptians on both sides of the ocean — immigration, jobs, the economy, culture, and sport — in Arabic and English, so no one is left out of the conversation.
And Masry is more than news: it is where members ask the community, post and find housing and work, share local events, and navigate consulate and newcomer paperwork — together.
